Saturday, September 9 and Sunday, September 10, at Loano will take place on the 20th Sailing Gathering “A vela per la life.”, organized by the Lega Navale Italiana Section of Genoa Sestri Ponente in collaboration with Marina of Loano and under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.

 A twenty of boats will take off from Genoa Sestri Ponente and set course at Loano, flying the flag of the’AISM - Italian Multiple Sclerosis Association. The goal of the initiative is to raise funds for the association.

The proceeds related to the moorings will be donated by Marina of Loano S.p.A. in favor of the’AISM, also Alpha Trading S.p.A., a sponsor of the event, will donate a contribution of € 2.000 in support of the event.

Saturday, September 9 departure from Genoa is scheduled at 9.00 with arrival at Loano by 5 p.m. On Sunday 10, the second trial on the return route Loano-Genoa Sestri Ponente is scheduled at the same time.

The event is open to monohull boats with an overall length greater than and equal to seven meters equipped with V.H.F.

Planned classes: l.f.t. less than 8.50 m.; 8.51 m. - 10.00 m.; over 10 m.

The award ceremony will be held on Sept. 16 in the L.N.I. Social Hall in Genoa Sestri Ponente.{:}
