On the occasion of the White Night The new station parking lot will also be opened.
Today saw the opening of the new parking lot on Old Station Street, which makes available to users one hundred and eleven places For the parking of passenger cars and over twenty places for motorcycles.
“We are satisfied," says Councillor for Municipal Police, Enrica Rocca - of the completion of the work on the horizontal and vertical signage, which was finished yesterday, enabling the parking area to be made available to users for the long-awaited “White Night” event to be held tomorrow.
The construction works, necessary to complete the work in the area designated for long-stay and season tickets, requires the issuance of a landscape permit. The process is ongoing, and once completed the area will be made available in its final version, with the possibility of also taking advantage of the Annual, quarterly and monthly subscriptions. FF.SS. commuter workers, on the other hand, can already use of the monthly fare pass of €.10.00 reserved for them.
The current use of the parking lots is charged during daytime hours, with a reduced rate compared to the other zones of Loano for non-residents €0.80/hour while €0.30/hour residents with cards, with the following schedule: 8.30 am to 1 pm and 2.30 pm to 7.30 pm.
Forms for the issuance of subsidized fare permits for commuting workers with FF.SS. season tickets to/from Loano, will be available on the City of Loano website and at the URP office.
It should be noted that there is no charge during night hours, so the area will be usable free of charge from 7:30 pm.
On the occasion of White Night and other events that include a major influx of the public, as well as on the occasion of partial closures to vehicular traffic for safety reasons, users are invited to make use of this new parking area in Via Stazione Vecchia and the parking areas upstream of Via Aurelia: Via Foscolo, Via Bergamo, Via Azzurri d'Italia, Via Petrarca and Via Manzoni, market area, Via delle Ciappe, and the outer Promenades.
