Elio e le Storie Tese will be the stars of the 2017 edition of the White Night at Loano, which will take place on June 23.
The party to greet the beginning of summer, sponsored by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano in collaboration with the’ASCOM Loano will be enlivened by cover bands playing in the streets, squares and on the waterfront.
“We are happy to be able to announce a new edition of White Night at Loano. - say the Mayor of Loano. Luigi Pignocca and the Councillor for Tourism, Culture and Sports Remo Zaccaria. This year in the big square, in the heart of the city will be the protagonists of the scene Elio e le Storie Tese. A great return to our city that saw them, in the mid-1980s at the beginning of their career, on the scene of the historic Loano Cabaret, a review that launched many new faces of Italian comedy, and then in 2004 on the Prince's Garden stage. We are confident that the energy and expressive power of this band will be able to give the right start to the summer 2017 event season.”
After the “Yes We Can't” tour, which saw them perform in 12 European cities, Elio e le Storie Tese return to Italian audiences, making a stop at Loano with a concert that combines rock, humor and improvisation resulting in an explosive cocktail.
Elio e le Storie Tese have contributed in 35 years of activity to innovating the style and content of Italian music by following their own original path that has led them, from being a cult band of the Milanese underground scene, to being one of the points of reference for many artists, publicists, producers and authors of cinema, theater, radio and television.
