Loano is ready to welcome guests for the spring season with a program of events sponsored by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
Concerts, street events, children's shows, book presentations, food festivals and lots of sports will enrich the area's tourist offerings, enlivening Loano's springtime.
The events will be a corollary to pleasant days when you can choose to live by the sea on the equipped beaches or walk in the green hinterland.
It will get into the thick of the program as early as the first weekend of April with three events that will weave together sports, prevention and solidarity.
Saturday, April 1 the “Fill up on engines not alcohol“, organized by the’Krav Maga Parabellum Association in collaboration with the Marina of Loano SpA, the S.ert ASL2 Savonese and the CSEN provincial committee, will bring to the port of Loano Loogan school children and the “moto 2” world championship bike of Italtrans Racing Team. The goal of the day will be to raise awareness of alcohol awareness among young people by having them meet riders, teams and motorcycle clubs involved in different categories. Also on Saturday, the side events of the eighth edition of the Vibram® Maremontana “Memorial Cencin De Francesco”, which will run Sunday, April 2. La music will be present in Loano spring with a rich variety of proposals. Between April and May, the tenth edition of “Flying Disks...Close Encounters with Records, Books, Words and Sounds”, a review of meetings with artists from the national music scene, organized by the association Company of the Curious.
The space dedicated to music, housed in the Civic Library in Kursaal Palace (9 p.m.), will open the’April 8 with the Italy Northwest territorial selection of the music competition “Playing at Folkest - Alberto Cesa Award.” The artists who will compete for notes will be the Maz Vilander & Makadam Zena, The London Pride, The Archimedes. The review will continue on April 22 With internationally renowned composer and musician Vincenzo Zitello who will present his latest musical project “Metamorphose XII” (2017, Telenn). The review will close on May 13 with the singer-songwriter Diodate. The artist, who participated in the 2014 Sanremo Festival in the “new entries” category and was a guest for several consecutive episodes of the program “Che tempo che fa” hosted by Fabio Fazio, will present his latest album “What have we become” (2017, Carousel Records).

In June, Loano will host the now classic summer tour opening of the Pesto Darkness (June 25) and the band concert (June 30) of the’S.M. Immaculate Music Association at Prince's Garden.
La White Night which will enliven the city this year on June 23, will mark the transition from spring to summer events.
Loano spring will also offer initiatives for the children and families. Among the entertainment events in the square this year will be the Renaissance Festival (May 20) with the presence in Italy Square of numerous figures.
It will then return to the Loano impazza for the artists in the square (April 30), organized by the’Society of the Curious Association, with an event that will intertwine the circus workshop, produced in collaboration with “Circus Uncertain” and YEPP Loano, with performances in the square.

Lo cultural space sees this year a new review “The springtime of books” promoted by the bookstore Mondadori Book Store Loano. Loano for Sports is confirmed to be full of sports events, thanks to the cooperation of Loano sports clubs. Among April and May will take place in the Bocciodromo the “Billiard Kermesse” organized by the’A.C.S.I. Darts National Sports Sector (April 18 and May 15).
