Here youngsters will be able to meet drivers, teams and motorcycle clubs engaged in different categories and breathe the atmosphere of the professional racing world.
In addition, four separate areas will be set up. The first will feature a stage for guests to give their testimony on both the purely sports aspect and the forces at work in prevention and health protection. The second area will be dedicated to the theme of road safety with the presence of the Traffic Police and of the Municipal Police.
In the third you will be able to witness the activity of the Liguria FIM committee (Italian Motorcycle Federation). Finally, an information gazebo on the issue of alcohol abuse among young people will be set up in the fourth area.
“Alcohol abuse," says Councillor Remo Zaccaria - is a phenomenon that in recent years is affecting more and more young people and in particular adolescents between the ages of 11 and 17.
This habit not only poses health risks, but also exposes young people to potentially dangerous behavior for themselves and others, such as driving mopeds and motor vehicles while intoxicated. We hope that this initiative will give young people pause for thought and may help make them a little more aware of the risks.’.
“This project," explains David Carosa president of Krav Maga Parabellum - was born last October on the Mugello circuit, during the course of the last two rounds of the Italian speed championship, where I was in view of the Lazio driver Luigi Morciano. Immediately after conceiving the idea we presented it to the Municipal Administration of Loano and the associations of the area and together with them we defined the program. I believe that the characteristics that a pilot must have in order to emerge are determination, awareness and the desire to grow, the same ones that the new generations must draw on, in order not to incur in wrong behaviors and habits that are detrimental to themselves and others.”.
Media partners of the event are. Radio Onda Ligure 101 e Liguria Web TV. Leading the event will be sports journalist Stephen Mentil.
