 Tuesday, March 7, a Loano, in the Pentagonal Tower, next to the Doria Palace, a conference entitled. “Alps and Apennines” organized, as part of the “Member's Evening” initiative, by the CAI Loano under the auspices of the Municipality of Loano.

At 9 p.m., Michele Pregliasco, CAI Naturalistic Cultural Operator (ONC) and member of the Ligurian-Piedmontese Scientific Committee of Savona will explore topics related to the geology of the Alps, starting with a description of the magma flows moving under the earth's crust and ending with the formation of our peninsula, the Alps and the Apennines.

Pregliasco, natural environment enthusiast and nature photographer, will also trace Italy through images, from Etna to the Dolomites, reconstructing the geological history of our country and the controversies that have inflamed scientific debate.

Admission to the conference is free.
