Mercoledì 28 dicembre, Loano celebrates the 30° compleanno del Cimento Invernale di Nuoto, il tuffo in mare d’inverno, promosso dall’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano e organizzato dall’ATI Free Equipped Beaches in collaboration with the Italian Bathing Union of Loano, the Italian Swimming Federation Lifeguarding, the Coast Guard of Loano.
Professional swimmers will come from all over Liguria and northern Italy, who will gather on Loano Beach to test themselves and renew the end-of-year ritual of diving into the sea.
L’2016 edition of Winter Swimming Tournament si svolgerà nello specchio acqueo antistante i Medusa Baths.
Registration will be kicked off at 10 a.m. The plunge is announced at 11:00 am.
La festa in riva al mare sarà animata dal dj-set che, con una ricca scaletta di brani musicali, darà il ritmo ai cimentisti impegnati nell’attività di riscaldamento.
Rescue services will be provided by the Operators of the Italian Rescue Dog School who, while waiting for the plunge, will give rescue demonstrations using operators and sea rescue dogs.
