“Loano responded united and in solidarity," says Mayor Luigi Pignocca to the call for help from the people affected by the earthquake. I thank all the associations for the commitment and heart they put into this initiative, and I thank the citizens and tourists for showing great sensitivity and closeness to those who still in these hours have lost everything. Thanks also to the businesses that donated the raw materials that were used to make the solidarity menu. The success of this day is to be attributed above all to the Loano associations that once again proved to be a vital force in our community. The funds raised will be entrusted to the Italian Red Cross, which is engaged in the earthquake-wounded areas with means and personnel.”.

“More than thirty cultural and sports associations," says Councillor Remo Zaccaria collaborated to bring this initiative to life. United for a common purpose above differences, everyone made a contribution. The most experienced festival associations organized the cooking, and the cultural associations provided a varied and quality entertainment program. Thanks also go to the majority and minority councilors who worked together for the success of the day, leaving political differences aside for a day. This first edition will be followed by others, and each year we will choose together the project to support with the help of the whole city.”
