Friday, September 30, at Loano registration opens for activities sponsored by YEPP Loano and from the’Department of Social Services of the City of Loano with the contribution of the Compagnia di San Paolo of Turin and of the “A. De Mari” Foundation of Savona.
As of October 7 Will reopen, after summer break, the youth center “Invisible Cities” and for young people between the ages of 12 and 25 years old, courses in swing music, theater and dance.
I music courses originate with the intention of completing the educational offerings in the field of music. Basic courses aimed at the study of the following instruments will be activated: Bass guitar, drums, electric guitar, keyboards.
Ample space will be given to the ensemble music, a music workshop in which young people will learn to play in a band. The youngsters supervised by a staff of teachers will have the opportunity to perform at musical events such as the Music Festival.
Also, in the area of music will be activated the computer music course to learn how to use the computer to create or mix music and the courses of ensemble music with objects of common use As bins and harmonic glasses.
The theater course will involve children in a journey in which they can experience the potential of their own means of expression, using the body, voice, senses and emotionality.
Lo swing dance internship is in the vein of “social dance” and includes basic training workshops and dance nights.
YEPP Loano also will be present in the Secondary Institute Di Primo Grado “Mazzini-Ramella” with a course of circus arts.
Alongside the courses, in the center “Invisible Cities” there will be available to young people, including a study room and a space equipped with table football, comic books and board games. Two rehearsal rooms will be able to be used for both studying and rehearsing with their own band. Monthly youth events will also be held in the center's spaces, such as concerts, meetings with artists and You Tuber, film club, etc.
The secretariat for course registration will remain open on the Sept. 30, 1, 2, Oct. 8,9 at Kursaal Palace from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.. Minors must be accompanied by a parent.
