Mainly “outings” are organized in the area to places usually frequented by teenage boys. In addition, the home project, which involves accompanying young people to independent living. Our biggest dream is “after us,” which aims to help young people experience independent living situations with the intention of making them increasingly independent. It starts with one weekend a month to work on autonomy in the home. Then we move on to the housing week, one a month, in which skills to move around the territory are built alongside home autonomies.
The Association also offers speech therapy support to young people up to the age of 18 on a weekly basis and has promoted the “healthy mouth” project, which provides young people with disabilities with two dental prevention clinics at the AIAS in Savona free of charge.
The funds raised will ultimately be used to support sporting activities, which began in 2006 and led to the creation of two volleyball teams in western Savona and the summer beach project, which involves our young people twice a week in swimming activities in the pool or at the beach.”
