Currently in vogue, swing is a musical genre that originated in the 1920s in the jazz clubs of Kansas City and New York (most notably the Cotton Club). Kansas City was the realm of Count Basie and New York's Cotton Club that of Duke Ellington, two stars of the jazz firmament who influenced this music with their orchestras. Recently, swing dancing has filled many clubs and squares in Italy, and at Loano you can also have fun following its “swinging” rhythm.
