He accomplishes 30 years the sand building contest Budding architects, promoted by the’Department of Sports, Tourism and Culture of the City of Loano in collaboration with the’State Property Department and the SIB (Italian Balneari Syndicate) of Loano.
Tuesday, July 12, on the beach of Loano As is now tradition, children will become little architects for a day and compete in building imaginative and elaborate sand sculptures.
The sandcastle building will begin in the morning. Once the teams of children have decided on a theme, they will set to work sculpting the wet sand.
The only materials they will be able to use are natural ones: sand, water, stones, shells and seaweed. The working tools will be shovels, buckets and of course lots of imagination. As every year, adults will be able to observe, without intervening.
In the afternoon, from 3 p.m., the sand castles will be subjected to careful evaluation by the jury.
All participants will receive a free gadget.
Winners of the sand building contest will be awarded prizes, Wednesday, July 13, from 9:30 pm, during the evening that will take place in the’Prince's Garden Summer Arena. Animating the party will be the cooperative I.so Theatre.
