Friday, May 13, 2016, a Loano, to the 5:30 pm, the photographic exhibition will be inaugurated in Palazzo Doria. “Even the eye wants its share of art” created by Betti Bellani, organized by the’T.A.P. Association – Team Adozioni Pappe (Adoption Team) under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
The exhibition, which aims to promote and support the activities of TAP (Team Adozioni Pappe), brings together a collection of photographs depicting Ligurian athletes from lesser-known but highly valuable sports disciplines.
The photographs were taken by the photographer from Loano. Alessandro Gimelli. The images were then transformed by Paul Castellucci in original comics. The exhibition features art photographs and their transpositions into cartoons.
Many athletes have joined the initiative: Valentina Roncallo (table tennis), Celeste Fameli Mathieu (dance), Sara Bocchio Lettieri and Eloise Borrello (acrosport), Christian Borghello (kettlebell), Gagliolo Stefano (Boxing), Giovanni Spanu (Kickboxing, K1), Vittorio Iermanno (Kickboxing, K1), Romualdo Caso (Boxing), Anna Moretti (Kettlebell), Gianni Puppo (Kickboxing, K1), Mattia Folchi (Motocross), Carlo Fazi and Hindia (Agility dog), Sifu Mauro Gibin (Wing Tjun Kung Fu – Iwka Italia), Ivan Monti (Soccer), Vittorio Secco (Kendo, Shodan), Mirco Celestino (Mountain biking), Merci Stieber Laura Drocco and Martina Bencardino (Water polo).
The exhibition will be open until May 29, Monday through Friday during office hours.
The TAP association, Team Adozione Pappa, aims to collect food for stray dogs and cats throughout Italy. In two years of activity, over 14,000 kg of food has been collected and distributed.
