Loano, April 3, 2016 – Great success for the seventh edition of Vibram® Maremontana – Memorial Cencin De Francesco, which took place today on the trails of the Loano hinterland over three distances, 60 km, 45 km, and 20 km, with 711 Italian and foreign athletes at the starting line.
Giulio Ornati won the 60 km race. of Team Salomon, who reached the finish line in 06:23:28. The second step of the podium goes to Giulio Piana of Team Mud and Snow ASD (06:27:44), third Stephen Fantuz of Team Scarpa (06:30:51), fourth Stephen Ruzza of Team Vibram (06:38:42) and fifth Daniel Fornoni Of Team Tecnica (06:40:43).
First among women and 22nd overall in the long race is Cristiana Follador of Team Aldo Moro Paluzza with a time of 08:09:52, ahead of Yulia Baykova Of Team Vibram (08:19:02), Giuliana Arrigoni Of Team Tecnica (08:52:28), Teresa Mustica by Delta Expeditions (09:02:11) and Laura Ravani by GS Orecchiella – Garfagnana (09:20:10).
He takes the victory in the 45 km race Claudio Del Grande of Team Italtende with 04:22:04, followed by Frenchman Guillame Besnard Of Vesubie Trail Club 06 (04:48:35), Matthew Columbus Of Team Tecnica (04:52:25), Miches Carcano Of the U. Pol. Gavirate (04:57:28) and Roberto Beretta of ASD Bergamo Stars Athletics (04:58:00).
The women's ranking of the 45 km. sees on the first step of the podium Lara Crivelli of Team Vibram with 05:27:07, followed by. Katia Holes Of Kinomana Team Tecnica (05:46:45), Graziana Pè Of The North Face Team (05:49:55), Susanna Serafini Azzurra Garbagnate (06:03:25) and Anna De Biase Of the Bergteam (06:12:33).
First man in the 20K is Davide Cavalletti of Delta Expeditions with 01:36:27, followed by. Cristian Sommariva of Team Scarpa (01:36:48), the French Guillaime Martin (01:41:10), Alexander Civitello of the Bergteam (01:41:50) and Denis Capillo (01:47:44).
Among women takes home the victory of the short race Virginia Oliveri of the Bergteam (02:02:32), followed by Carla Giuseppina Corti of the Alpstation Trail Team (02:09:13), Carlotta Vecchi by A. S. I'm coming there (02:13:37), Giorgia Bruzzone of Atletica Frecce Zena (02:14:42) and Danila Alessandra Barone (02:15:40).
Good participation in the non-competitive walk on a hilly and scenic route of 11 Km in which more than 70 enthusiasts took part.

The Maremontana Amateur Sports Association, affiliated with UISP, was founded on October 27, 2014 with the intent to promote and develop sports activities in the area, such as Fit Walking, Nordic Walking, Trail Running, Vertikal and Climbing.
