La city of Loano is ready to host Saturday, March 19 and Sunday, March 20 the FINAL FOUR of the bocce championship. of Series A, organized under the auspices of the Federbocce since’A.S.D. Bocciofila Loanese with contributions from the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano

La Loanese Bowling Club for the 13th consecutive year will host the final four to win the Sixtieth Series A bowls championship for flight specialty.

Competing for the victory will be 4 formations, the same ones who took the field last year: Perosina Boulenciel, Pontese (TV), Brb Ivrea (defending champion) and the Borgonese. This was the final verdict of this year's regular season that saw Perosina Boulenciel finish first overall with 24 points, (twelve wins and two losses), Pontese 21, Brb Ivrea 18 and Borgonese with 15 points.

More than two thousand fans and sportsmen are expected for a competition that promises to be of a high technical level, given the presence of players of international relevance.”

The program of Saturday, March 19 starting at 2 p.m. will see the following pairings: La Perosina Boulenciel VS Borgonese and Pontese VS Brb Ivrea.

In the semifinals in case of a tie, the best-ranked team in the single round will qualify for the final. The winners of the semifinals will play the finals, scheduled for Sunday, March 20 with the following schedule:

10 a.m. - Round 1 (quad, individual, pairs and combined) and relay:

2:45 p.m. - 2 precision shooting, progressive shooting and Round 2 ( combined pairs, individual, pairs and triplets).

In the finals in the event of a tie, an additional round consisting of three point bowls and three dot shots (total six) will be held for each team to determine the winner.

At the two-day boccia event, the following will be present Rai Sports, with the live streaming on the Federbocce website (www.federbocce.it) with commentary by Francesco Ferretti and with the technical support of Stephen Trinchero: A comprehensive summary of 60 Minutes on Rai Sport.

The race direction will consist of the event coordinator Andrea Pigatto while the arbitration direction will be entrusted to  Giuseppe Barbera, Claudio Marchisio, Fausto Ruggeri and Ettore Toscanini.
