PRESS RELEASE (11/3/2016)
Saturday, March 12, at 16.00, at Civic Library a Loano, a new meeting dedicated to the theme of motherhood will be held, sponsored by the’Department of Social Services of the City of Loano within the framework of family policies and organized by the’No Head Start Association.
The focus of the meeting-conference will be the presentation of the new desk dedicated to mothers and the developmental age. The service, promoted in collaboration with the’Department of Social Services will take place within Loano Health (Mondays and Thursdays 3-5 p.m.) and will be curated by the’No Head Start Association.
“We officially inaugurate," explains Councillor Luca Lettieri - the “maternity” project, which offers support from pregnancy until the birth of the child and then during the first years of growth. The desk will offer free listening to women on maternity leave, support for breastfeeding, parenting and developmental age. It will be run by experienced and trained psychologists and mothers.”
“We are satisfied with the results to date. - say the members of the’No Head Start Association - We deeply believe that a woman who is supported and confronted with a healthy social network will be able to peacefully care for her child, raising her child in the psychological well-being and love she needs. When a woman is experiencing hardship, motherhood becomes a burden, and the mother's lack of serenity can only affect the child.”.
The meeting will also present the projects “become a green mom”, which provides for the donation of a free washable diaper sample kit to all newborn residents, and the reuse marketplace “mom to mom”.
