A Loano, will take place Sunday, March 6 the expected Palio of the Commons, postponed last weekend due to bad weather. The parade of floats will close the 25th edition of CARNEVALÖA, organized by the’Old Loano Association with contributions from the’Department of Tourism and Culture of the City of Loano.
The competition will involve floats from the cities of Bardino Vecchio (Ghostbuster), Borghetto S.S. (Jeeg Robot of Steel) Varazze (The Cossacks and Matriosche), Rione S. Giovanni Albenga (The Tale of Peter Pan), Justenice (Sheep Life). For Loano The winner of the Village Palio, Dragon Trainer and Masha and The Bear (Fortress Square).
Out of competition all the other Palio dei Borghi floats will also parade: The tree of life (Stella Street Rossello Schools Loano), Arlo's journey (The Priglians), The Minions (I Mazzocchi I Mattetti Burdellusi), Star Wars (The Meceti), Kung Fu Panda (Borgo di Dentro).
Opening the parade, at 3 p.m., will be as is tradition the Carnival King, the official mask of Carnevalöa “U’ Beciancin On its flaming Becians Car. The other traditional mask of the Loano carnival will not be missing. “U Puè Peppin” Who will sit on the throne at the foot of the Clock of Loano.
The parade will be enriched by the presence of musical floats Ballon Tour with I Buio Pesto e “Los tres tenores” with artists Ray Fiore, Sante Iannuzzi and Tony Spinello.
