Wednesday, January 6, a Loano, the review will be held “The Turchini Concerts, organized by the Brotherhood of the Turks' Chapels under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
At 5 p.m., l’Oratory Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, will host a new round of the program dedicated to “The Musics of the Soul.”. Protagonist of the sacred music concert will be the formation The Arches of Zinaida who will perform a repertoire of pieces by J.S. Bach, P.A. Locatelli, N. Paganini and A. Vivaldi.
The Arches of Zinaida are a direct emanation of the Zinaida Gilels Violin Masterclass held by Maestro Maria Caterina Carlini in Vittorio Veneto, Treviso and Latisana.
The Chamber Orchestra is composed of particularly valuable and talented students, winners of prestigious national and international competitions. The orchestra carries out intense concert activity and is a regular guest of important Festivals and Concert Festivals in Italy and Europe. It collaborates with prestigious musicians including Giovanni Angeleri, Alessandro Moccia, Francesco Lattuada, MireiYamada, Ilya Grubert, and Walter Vestidello. Last June, soloists from the Zinaida Gilels Violin School performed for the Festival “From the Art of Making to Making Art“ accompanied by the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra of San Francisco to considerable critical and public acclaim.
In September 2014 Gli Archi di Zinaida, Maestro concertatore Maria Caterina Carlini, recorded for the Stradivarius record label a CD with music by Locatelli, Leo, Vivaldi that was presented during the EXPO events in Milan in 2015.
