Monday, January 4 and Tuesday, January 5, will return to Loano the review “Loano rages for artists in the square.”, promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano, organized by the Company of the Curious with the artistic direction of Simone Peretti.
From 3:30 p.m., the historic center will come alive offering a quality entertainment show rooted in the tradition of Italian folk theater. A parade of street performers will engage the audience with entertaining and lively balancing and juggling shows.
The January 4 kicking off the festival will be the traveling entertainment in the main streets of the old town by Stefan Oz. The artist will create a visual art performance, stunning and making young and old alike dream. Magic orbs will dance sinuously in his hands, floating suspended in time to the music. The mysterious and exotic Buugengs will add a moment of wonder to the show, revolving around the artist in hypnotic and kaleidoscopic shapes.
At 3:45 p.m., in Palestro Square, the street performance of juggling and balancing by Luca De Rinaldo. “Light-O The Sustainable Lightness of Being” is the title of the show that will take the spectator between balls suspended in the air and virtuosity on a soft rope. Gravity, not only as a force but as a state of mind, is challenged by manipulating spheres, throwing balls through the air coming up with a lightness capable of making a man dance on a rope.
At 16.30, in fortress square, The Invers will present the comedy show “Go Smooth!” Funny and full of twists and turns, the comic entertainment spectacular will engage audiences of all ages. Composing the troupe are two highly experienced artists, always on the move and constantly evolving: Jorik, specializing in unicycle shows on ropes with juggling and Sascia, who began artistically as a dancer and has a repertoire of performances with fire.
The afternoon will close with a workshop on percussion and fiery rhythms by the Circus Uncertain and The Empty Pumpkins, at hours 17.00, in fortress square.
The January 5, the parade of stilt-walkers and clowns of the Uncertain Circus, which at the hours 15.30, in Italy Square, will give birth to the circus workshop. Children will experience the magic of the circus, trying their hand at juggling exercises (balls, plates, hoops, diablo, handkerchiefs, bolas, etc.), balancing (ball, roller, tightrope) and on the aerial trapeze.
At 5 p.m., always in Italy Square, will again be featured The Invers with the show “Sospiro.” Jorik and Sascia will give a spectacular and evocative performance of rope balancing, fire, dance and more...
Amidst many flames, small and large and in every direction, pyrotechnic and pyrotechnic effects, the two performers will defy gravity with tightrope walking over melodies and rhythms that with harmonic force will drive the stage.
