It continues over the weekend, in Loano, the review “Heavenly Musings”, promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
Saturday, December 12, to the 9 p.m. at Church of St. Augustine and St. Rita concert will be held “Christmas Starns” with Simona Briozzo (voice), Marco Cravero (guitar), Alexander Gratian (violin).
The concert program will include an international selection of songs, drawn from the tradition of Christmas carols, spirituals, and liturgical songs. The soprano Simona Briozzo Will perform: Silent Night, Christmas Trees, Adeste Fideles Sanctus, Gloria in Excelsius Deo, God rest you merry gentleman (spiritual), Cantique de Noel, His eye on the sparrow (spiritual), White Christmas, Amazing Grace (spiritual), Noel, Noel
O Sanctissima (traditional), Sometimes I fell like a Motherless child (spiritual), I love the Lord (spiritual), You come down from the stars (traditional).
Simona Briozzo began piano studies at an early age and later devoted herself to singing under the guidance of sopranos Silvana Silvano and Cristina Zanni. She attended the Conservatorio Niccolò Paganini in Genoa and the Accademia Musicale Cilea Ferrato in Savona. She is currently dedicated to vocal teaching in the children's range and collaborates with school realities, choirs and orchestras in the Savona area.
The singer will be accompanied in the performance of the pieces by the musicians Marco Cravero (guitar), Alexander Gratian (violin).
The same ensemble will repeat the concert Sunday, December 13, to the 4:30 pm, in the Church of the Visitation.
