Tuesday December 8, a Loano, at 20.30, in the St. Mary Immaculate Church, will kick off the review Heavenly music, promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.

Opening the musical journey to the city's sacred places will be the duo Paola Arecco (piano) and Gianni Gollo (transverse flute).

The concert program will include a rich selection of traditional Christmas songs: ”Ave Maria” by C. Gounod, “Magnificat” and “Pacem in Terris” by. M. Frisina, “Andante in C major K315” by W. A. Mozart, “O My Lord, Largo” by. G. F. Haendel, “The Virgin of Angels” (from “The Force of Destiny”) by. G. Verdi, “Cantique de Noël” by. A. Adam, “Carols of Bells” by. M. Leontovych, “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” by F. Mendelssohn, “Silent Night” by F. Gruber, “Brother Sun, Sister Moon” by. J.M. Benjamin e R. Ortolani.

Paola Arecco, who graduated in 1991 in piano from the Conservatory “Nicolò Paganini” of Genoa, boasts an intense concert activity and is currently director of the inter-parish polyphonic choir of Loano and teacher of “choir workshop” for the UNITRE of Borgio Verezzi (SV). She collaborates as organist with the concert activity of the “S.Biagio” choir of Finalborgo and with numerous musicians of the local Loano scene such as saxophonist M° Davide Nari and flutist Gianni Gollo.
