At 6 p.m., l’Prince's Garden Summer Arena, will host the presentation of the book “Educare. For a fullness of life” of Msgr. Guglielmo Borghetti, Coadjutor bishop of the Diocese of Albenga - Imperia.
Introducing and dialoguing with the author will be. Graziella Frasca Gallo, curator of the meetings.
This volume, reprinted by Moro Dauphin Editions, offers a profound analysis, with a psycho-pedagogical slant, on educational responsibility. Divided into three parts, the text brings out the figure of the educator, who cares about the formation of the person, the priest and the ecclesial community and places his or her expertise at its service.
“But, beyond all schematism, it is the reader, whoever he or she may be, who is reached by the depth of the analysis that unfolds in these pages: the reader in his or her spiritual dimension, in his or her psychic reality in his or her individual and social spheres, in his or her affectivity, in his or her relational life, in the mystery of his or her vocation and mission.Educating is, therefore, the fundamental objective that the volume sets itself, with the intention also of offering a contribution to the Pastoral orientations of the decade. In this regard, the author wonders, «In the time of ‘poverty’ understood as the absence of nostalgia for truth and passionate ethical commitment, how to educate? Never before, perhaps, is the educator's imagination tested as it is today.». It is the Christian community as a whole that must allow itself to be invested with its strong educational responsibility, becoming «theological place to revive the experience of those human relationships that in the sign of gratuitousness, acceptance and dedication, awakens and cultivates the constitutively vocational profile of life». (from the volume presentation by Aurora Sarcia).
The book presentation will be accompanied by the musical notes of Maestro Roberto Sinito.
The meeting will close with a aperitif.
