Friday, July 31, a Loano in the’Prince's Garden Summer Arena, the dance review, promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano and organized by the I.So THeatre with the artistic direction of Luca Malvicini, will host the Liliana Cosi and Marinel Stefanescu Classical Ballet Company.
At 9:30 pm, the spotlight will be turned on “Ballet Gala”, a show dedicated to some masterpieces of the classical repertoire and original choreography created to more recently composed classical music.
“As in every expression of art, especially in music, but also in ballet," say Liliana Cosi and Marinel Stefanescu, "virtuosity itself arouses a strong emotional impact in the audience. The Compagnia Balletto Classico in this evening will offer the audience some of these pieces based precisely on pure virtuosity and others instead inspired by more particular themes aroused by the feelings that enrich the human soul in different aspects of life. In both cases, the goal of the choreographies is to reach out and speak to the audience's innermost self to arouse joy, poetry, awe, and hope.
Ballet Gala while stemming from the roots of classical dance, ranges in its own research, thus succeeding in making audiences appreciate and rediscover masterpieces of all times.”
The two-part performance will include. choreographies di Marinel Stefanescu and repertoires Russian classics. The company will dance to music by George Enescu, Riccardo Drigo, Tomaso Albinoni, Ludwig Minkus, Fredrich Chopin, Ludwig V.Beethoven, Piotr I.Tchaikovski, Franz Liszt.
Maitre du ballet will be Liliana Cosi.
