After the noir tale “The Devil's Trill,” Molteni and Buttiero. They sign a new yellow,  a play where the scent of the Mediterranean mingles with the lopsided melodies of rebetiko and the elusive aroma of vine leaf rolls.

The book's introduction reads, “An Italian drama on Greek soil, then, against the backdrop of a country of poignant beauty bent by an economic crisis that seems with no way out and by the memory of a recent history of colonels, pain, fear and pride. A murder that looks like an accident and that Titti Delucis, with her friend Colonel Marras and Commissioner Kitharatzis, will try to solve. In a whirlwind of stories, loves and miseries that once again have as their stage the small and mysterious Savona.

All the ingredients are there to captivate fans of the genre: A murder that looks like an accident. Or an accident that looks like murder. The investigation of a Greek policeman with a difficult past to bear amid the mists of the retsina; an investigator by chance, beautiful, desired and in love; an overweight Italian carabiniere; and then a drifting painter and a coroner with a passion for Shakespeare.”
