They continue, in Loano, i Culture Tuesday, dedicated to books, poetry and music.

Tuesday, July 14, the review, promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano and organized by the I.So THeatre, will host at 6 p.m, in the’Prince's Garden Summer Arena the presentation of the mystery novel “The Black Room” (2014, Fratelli Frilli Editore) by. Fiorenza Giorgi e Irene Schiavetta.

Serving as the hostess will be Graziella Frasca Gallo, curator of the meetings, who will dialogue with the two authors.The Giorgi and the Slave are on their third novel together, after ”Crime at the Sistine Chapel” (Uniservice, 2011) and “Death at Chiabrera” (Fratelli Frilli Editori, 2013), the same pool of investigators from the previous two episodes is back in action.

The new noir novel is set in Savona. There is great anticipation for the exhibition of diamonds organized in the Palazzo dell'Anziania, where some of the most precious stones gathered for the occasion by experts in the field will be on display. The jewels, of incalculable value, are safely stored in the vault of the Modigliani jewelry store in the heart of the city. A mysterious woman attempts the impossible: to steal the entire collection. She is determined, has carefully prepared every move, but things do not go as planned and she has to flee hastily, leaving behind a dead body and a thousand questions. The story unravels in a seesaw of unsettling characters and genuine twists and turns: a particularly fascinating witness, who tries to break the heart of magistrate Ludovica Sperinelli; a war criminal punished for his cruelty; a wayward grandmother; Marshal Francesco Mancini, grappling with a ghost who talks and walks...

Fiorenza Giorgi, was born, lives and works in Savona. She has been in the judiciary for many years and currently serves as a Judge for Preliminary Investigations. She is passionate about opera music and Ligurian traditions and is the author of three collections of Savona idioms that have met with great success.

Irene Schiavetta, musician, pianist, lives in Savona. He has performed in concerts and is currently a Conservatory lecturer. He has written several brilliant plays, short stories and librettos; he has collaborated with a major publishing house on works of Italian literature. For Carisch Editions he has written books on piano teaching.

The meeting with the authors will be accompanied by the musical notes of Maestro Roberto Sinito.  The meeting will close with a aperitif.
