“The award," explains Mayor Luigi Pignocca - was awarded to Anna Mazzamauro with the following. motivation: for having played and brought to life on the big screen an unforgettable character, who has become over time, for a very wide audience, a familiar figure, rich in peculiarities and identifying values. In fact, Signorina Silvani represents a comic-grotesque archetype, which has contributed to recounting gradually some of the changes in the female world, outside the schemes of political correctness.”
In the evening Anna Mazzamauro will be the interpreter of a shrewd and liberating, insolent and mild, daring and shy, laugh-out-loud and committed show that finds in its various emotional unevennesses the theatrical and engaging energy to magnetize the audience.
The Roman actress will urge the audience to strip away bad memories, misguided loves, sex taboos, free themselves from the fear of old age, and exhibit their diversity through purifying laughter.
The direction spies all the stimuli, even the most recondite, the most daring associations stimulated by the bravura of the actress-author, by Amedeo Minghi's precious original music so that this flow of words and songs becomes theater, designs a balanced, flowing and clear dramaturgy.
The evening is at free admission.
