Wednesday, July 8, a Loano, will continue the film festival “The trash that we were!”, promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano and organized by the I.So,with the artistic direction of Paolo Borio.

The review devoted to the film strand now called “trash” this year is dedicated to the great performer of Italian cinema and theater, Anna Mazzamauro, that the July 10, on the occasion of his recital will receive the City of Loano Award “Trash Film! Laughing Italian Style.”.

At 9:30 pm, on the big screen of the’Prince's Garden Summer Arena will be screened “Fantozzi”. The film, which celebrates its fortieth anniversary this year, is theprime chapter in the successful saga that, narrating the misadventures of the eponymous accountant, painted and captured the spirit of an era. The film, conceived and starring Paolo Villaggio, drew unforgettable characters: from Miss Silvani (Anna Mazzamauro) to the accountant Filini (Gigi Reder), from his wife Pina (Liù Bosisio) to his daughter Mariangela (Plinio Fernando), and the baker Cecco (a very young Diego Abatantuono).

In this film Anna Mazzamauro dresses as the vamp secretary, the character that made her famous in the 1970s.
