July 7-10 a Loano, will be held the fourth edition of the film festival “The trash that we were!” and the City of Loano Award “Trash Film! Laughing Italian Style.”, promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano and organized by the I.So,with the artistic direction of Paolo Borio.
Three unforgettable films will be shown on the big screen in the Prince's Garden: “Everyone can get rich except the poor” directed by Mauro Severino (1976), “Fantozzi” directed by Luciano Salce (1975), “Evicted seeks fair-rent housing” directed by Francesco Pingitore (1983). The July 10, In the evening of theater that will close the review, the 2015 Award will be presented to actress Anna Mazzamauro.
The film festival under the banner of laughter and Italian-style comedy, which will take place in the’Prince's Garden Summer Arena, to the 9:30 pm, will kick off Tuesday, July 7, with “Everyone can get rich except the poor”. The film, starring Enrico Montesano, Anna Mazzamauro, Barbara Bouchet and Paolo Paoloni, is an Italian-style comedy about the luck and misfortune of an unassuming couple, who are miraculously blessed by a thirteen on the 850-million lottery ticket, and in a short time lose everything.
Wednesday, July 8, the review will continue with the film celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, “Fantozzi”, the first chapter of the successful saga that, narrating the misadventures of the accountant of the same name, painted and captured the spirit of an era. The film, conceived and starring Paolo Villaggio drew unforgettable characters: from Miss Silvani (Anna Mazzamauro) to the accountant Filini (Gigi Reder), from his wife Pina (Liù Bosisio) to his daughter Mariangela (Plinio Fernando), and the baker Cecco (a very young Diego Abatantuono).
Thursday, July 9 will be screened “Evicted seeks fair-rent housing” with Pippo Franco, Anna Mazzamauro, Gigi Reder, Bombolo. The funny comedy unfolds in a succession of grotesque situations in which the protagonist, Marino Stroppaghetti, a laid-off breadwinner who has a family of six on his shoulders: wife, three children and grandfather. Together they all try to get by, but the situation precipitates when they receive an eviction notice.
The review will close Friday, July 10 with the delivery of the City of Loano Award “Trash Film! Laughing Italian Style.” to the actress Anna Mazzamauro, who will present the recital “Bare bones.
