They continue, in Loano, pre-sales of the show “The great movie soundtracks”, included in the musical review of the Summer Arena Giardino del Principe, promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano, and curated by the I.So THeatre with the artistic direction of Luca Malvicini.
The musical performance, scheduled Saturday, July 4, to the 9:30 pm, will feature the training Alternating, led by guitarist Nando Rizzo.
The Ligurian band will follow a concert dedicated to movie soundtracks. A musical journey sung and narrated through the music of film masterpieces such as: The Graduate, Flashdance, Rocky, Fame, Once Upon a Time in the West and many others. Among the songs reinterpreted by the band will be the soundtrack of the historic TV show Happy Days and A Hard Days Night, the first film that launched the Beatles into a film version.
During the performance, images taken directly from the films will be projected and anecdotes and stories of the protagonists will be told.
The band will consist of Nando Rizzo (guitars and vocals), Georgia Bacon (vocals), Alberto Garassino (keyboards and vocals) and Nico Terzi (drums and percussion).
Nando Rizzo known for the grit and aggressiveness of his guitar notes, he followed in the footsteps of his father and uncle, who with the duo Rizzo & Rizzo since the distant 1960s have played on the stages and squares of Italy and Europe.
At the age of 11, Nando Rizzo was already playing in the streets and carruggi of his town, Alassio; at 14 he began performing in the best-known venues in Liguria, first as a soloist, later as the leader of various ensembles. In 1995 he formed the “Nando Rizzo Stop Band,” now Alternando, with which he offers covers and songs composed by him.
