Saturday, June 20, a Loano,will get into the swing of summer events with a new edition of White night, the long entertainment marathon, which will keep everyone up late into the night with live music and tastings.
The party to greet the beginning of summer, sponsored by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano and organized by the’ASCOM Loano, will be enlivened by already establishedacover bands and young ensembles, which will play in the streets, squares and on the waterfront.
As in the past, the city's businesses and venues will be a mainstay of the initiative with an extraordinary opening of businesses and original tasting stations.
The highlight of the evening will be the concert in Italy Square, organized by the I.So THeatre. This year in the big square in the heart of the city will take center stage Clare, who along with his band will stop at Loano with his “Extraordinary tour 2015”.
From 21.30, warming up the musical evening while waiting for the big concert will be the sixteen music stations set up on the waterfront and downtown streets.
Starting from the east, on the waterfront the first music area will be in the Nassiriya Fallen Gardens, at the height of the bar Novecento. Continuing westward the Bar Class will host the rock band Many Keens.A little further on the Zen Garden will animate the Bar Vittorino with the tribute to the U2. Melody Punk is the genre that will present the Four Real at Florida Baths slab.
In Maccagli Garden, i Free Will will bring energy and rhythm for an evening, which promises to be one to dance to. The band will play a repertoire of covers, ranging from pop-rock to 1970s disco music.
The Rino bar will host the London-based duo Shameless who will performcover of timeless classics, ranging from pop to country and rock to blues.
Beat and Italian rock is the genre that The New Geckos will offer in the music area of the Chersicla Fountain.
In the historic center, the stage of Massena Square has been entrusted to the band Santiago Project who will perform unreleased Italian rock and pop songs. In via Ghilini training Award-winning Cotton Mill will play a repertoire ranging from singer-songwriter to rock, reinterpreting big international hits with a skillful blend of guitars, harmonicas, percussion and vocals.
Two locations in via Garibaldi, the first animated by NI.CO POP acoustic ensemble with an international repertoire and the jazz ensemble Imperfect Trio. The rock cover band Vespu Surdu will be featured in via Stella and in fortress square you will dance with Magua Music to the beat of hits by U2, Depeche Mode, Simple Minds.
Live music also in via Boragine and unpublished in Palestro Square with the Flower Flash.
La Sbanday Street Band, marching band formed within the’S.M. Immaculata Band Musical Association of Loano, will perform a traveling concert in Cavour Street, Caruggi Orbi, Corso Europa, Cesarea Street involving young and old with rhythmic sounds.
10 p.m., Italy Square, will turn the spotlight on Clare. On the tour, produced by Live Nation, the artist will present live his latest record work “An Extraordinary Sunny Day” (Sony Music) in a surprising and intense show that will feature songs from the new record such as “A sunny day”, his most beloved songs, which have become real hits such as “Two breaths” or the highly acclaimed “Stardust”, and unmissable covers of great international music revisited in the unique style of Clare.
Natural talent, crystal clear voice and spontaneity, in a short time Clare has won over audiences and critics, as well as the esteem of great Italian authors, and has scored one success after another. From his triumphant victory in X Factor 6, Chiara in a few months participated in the Sanremo Festival, conquered the first multiplatinum with the single “Two Breaths”, then followed by the gold disc of the first unreleased album “A Place in the World”, from the triple platinum of “Stardust” in duet with Mika and from a very long tour throughout Italy. After taking a break to put all the experiences he has had to good use, on October 7, 2014, he released his new record project “A Day in the Sun, ushering in a new phase of his artistic and personal life.
