 Saturday, June 13,a Loano, to the 4 p.m., at Council Chamber in Doria Palace initiative will be held “Not to forget the Centenary of the Great War”, organized by the Pro Loco of Loano under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.

After the Mayor's greeting, Luigi Pignocca and the president of the Pro Loco Loano Maria Giuliana Amelotti, a projection of vintage photographic images will be held by Flavio Bado and the presentation of the volume “Italy at war” by Savona journalist and writer Pier Paolo Cervone (Mursia publisher), published on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Italy's entry into the war.

Together with the author, the period from the Sarajevo bombing, in which Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie were assassinated, to the London Pact (April 26, 1915), when the treaty between Italy and the representatives of the Triple Alliance was signed, will be traced and explored.

The initiative will be attended by the Chief of Staff of the Italian Army Military Command (Liguria). Colonel Alfonso La Franca.
