Friday, June 12, a Loano, the closing concert of the fourth edition of the festival will be held. Young Concert Artists curated by the’S.M. Immaculate Music Association under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
Guest of the evening, scheduled at 9 p.m, in Fortress Square, will be the Youth Band of the “G. Rossini” Philharmonic of Recco. The ensemble in which about 30 very young Ligurian musicians (students of the music school of the “Gioacchino Rossini” Philharmonic of Recco) play will perform a varied musical program. The group will be conducted by the Maestro Alessandro Botteghi.
The Musical Band represents the natural continuation of what was set up in the school of music. The activity that this music group most favors is cultural exchange with other associations.
The main characteristic of the Rossini Philharmonic is that it takes great care of its staff : Musicians are trained within the “Music Guidance School” and continue to attend the school even when they are included in the band staff.
The band participates in major international band festivals and has made close contacts with established Italian and foreign musical ensembles.
