Saturday, June 6, a Loano, will continue the fourth edition of the Young Concert Artists curated by the’S.M. Immaculate Music Association under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.

The guest of the second event will be the Ellipsos Saxophone Quartet, which will ring at 9 p.m., in the Council Chamber in Doria Palace. The group's repertoire includes original pieces, their own arrangements of various works from the baroque, classical and romantic repertoire, as well as contemporary and pop music.

Formed in Nantes in 2004, the ensemble consists of. Paul-Fathi Lacombe (soprano saxophone), Julien Bréchet (alto saxophone), Sylvain Jarry (tenor saxophone) and Nicolas Herroüet (baritone saxophone).

The French saxophone ensemble is engaged internationally in original arrangements from repertoires ranging from baroque to classical and romantic. It recently performed Isaac Albeniz's composition “Asturias” on France 2 in front of more than 3 million viewers.

Ellipsos studied and studied music literature in depth at the prestigious Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique de Paris and is recognized as the ambassador of the French saxophone quartet to the world. The group has performed on numerous national and international stages: Auditorium Landowsky, Carroussel du Louvre, Théâtre du Châtelet, Cité de la Musique de Paris et Strasbourg, Maison de Radio-France, Studio Gabriel, Cour d'Honneur de l'Hôtel de Matignon, Salon de la Musique et du Son de Paris, Nantes Cathedral and many others. It participated in the “Festival de la Francophonie 2014” in the United States, celebrating its 10th anniversary in a concert at the French Embassy in Washington DC.

Young Concert Artists will move and close the June 12 (h 21.00) in Fortress Square with the concert of the City of Recco Youth Band. The ensemble in which about 30 very young Ligurian musicians (students of the music school of the “Gioacchino Rossini” Philharmonic of Recco) play will perform a varied musical program. The group will be conducted by the Maestro Alessandro Botteghi.
