Tuesday, June 2, to Loano, the calendar of events, promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano, proposes the’excursion and the FLOWER FESTIVAL at Mount Carmo Refuge and the special market edition of the’Antiquities and the Collectibles.
Those who would like to participate in the hike to Mount Carmo, organized by the Loanese Section of the C.A.I. under the program Loano not only sea, will have to be in Valerga Square at 8 a.m.
The free CAI-guided excursion will start from Giogo di Toirano and along the Alta Via die Monti Liguri will reach Monte Carmo and from there the CAI refuge of Loano, at Pian delle Bosse, mt 841 asl, where the Flower Festival.
For non-members CAI accident insurance is compulsory, to be taken out by calling Laura Panicucci tel. 019 672366, cell. 349 7854220, if absent Elena Ghiglione cell 333 9384941, by 12 noon the day before the excursion. Without Insurance you will not be able to participate in the excursion.
Participants should have appropriate footwear and clothing suitable for the ’mountain environment. Trip leaders will not admit those who do not have the proper requirements.
From 9 at 20.00, on the Garassino Garbarino waterfront, the special edition of the market of the’ANTIQUITIES AND COLLECTING, organized by the’Cultural and Recreational Association Events Free. Exhibitors will display antiques, curiosities and grandma's things. On the market stalls you will be able to find not only many curiosities of yesteryear but also collectibles and modern items with vintage characteristic of the 1960s and 1970s. There will be furniture, paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, objets d'art, carpets, textiles, lace, ceramics and art artifacts.
