Back to Loano the review“Loano rages for artists in the square.”, promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
“Loano is proposing in spring 2015," explains Councillor Remo Zaccaria - Two events in the square dedicated to “street circus.” Stilt walkers, tightrope walkers, jugglers and clowns will involve the public with balancing and juggling shows. The historic center will come alive with high quality entertainment shows.”

At 4:30 pm, in Palestro Square, Andrea Vanni of Company Grapes Grains will present Super! Super! Super!, a juggling show that will instantly come to life through the immediacy of its characters, superheroes who are somewhat awkward in the eyes of everyone, but absolutely convinced otherwise. Suspended runs on a single wheel, plungers to jump higher than expected, rotating flying anti-gravity objects, walks along a suspended rope and improbable acrobatic exercises will act as a backdrop to the absurd world of our (anti)heroes.
At 17.30, to come alive will be fortress square, where the Company “Circus Free All” will present “Toby's Orkestar”.Three surreal clowns will compete to the last note, creating a surreal concert where images mingle with the music of an imaginary orchestra. The explosive energy of Toby's Theatre will leave young and old alike speechless.
The review will return to downtown streets, Saturday, May 2. In Italy Square, the afternoon of fun will open at 16.30 with the Circus workshop edited by Uncertain Circus.
Children can try their hand at juggling (balls, plates, hoops, diablo, handkerchiefs, bolas, etc.) and balancing (ball, roller, tightrope) exercises. They will also be able to measure their courage with exercises on the aerial trapeze. Uncertain Circus, this is the name of the circus duo, was born from the professional union, and more, of Simone Peretti e Valentina Zingaro. He, an educator specializing in circus arts at the University of Tor Vergata in Rome, She, an artist skilled in artistic makeup and circus arts, together form a duo that ranges from teaching to animation.
At 17.30, the workshop will give way to the theater-on-wire performance. “Castaways by Choice” of Company Los Filonautas. Taking center stage will beA strange ship held by a steel cable. A stage six feet high and thin as a steel cable, where Captain Flower and his sailor Silver will face a wide variety of adventures aboard their vessel. Threatening ocean storms, gales of passions, rebellions and battles will rhythmically alternate with the extravagant scenes of daily life on board. The combination of expressive means, circus, acrobatic, musical and theatrical techniques will compose an engaging play.
The closing of the event will take place in the evening at 21.00, always in Italy Square with the show “The rhythm of fire” with the group Shook Roots and Uncertain Circus.
