Paul Di Crescenzo, has cultivated a passion for writing since his high school days. In 2007, he published a collection of noir short stories titled “Blood Red Look” with Ennepilibri. More of his short stories are included in various anthologies.
“When Night Comes” is his first novel. Set in the small cemetery of Borghetto, the story opens with an attempt by unknown persons to steal the body of an elderly man who died a few days ago.

A homeless man is found dead, and a few days later so is the cemetery janitor. Both exsanguinated, they have two holes in their necks. The thesis that a vampire prowls in the village becomes likely and brings Diego Corti, a specialist in the field, to Borghetto as well.
Between suspicions, love, visions and deceptions, convictions and skepticism, official and private investigations, the protagonists will intertwine their stories in a fast-paced crescendo of twists and turns.
