 Saturday, December 20, Loano, at 4 p.m, at Council Chamber (Palazzo Doria)a conference entitled. “Mario Cenere's Nativity.

The initiative, organized by the’UNITRE of Loano under the auspices of the Municipality of Loano, will see the presence of Family Members, Luisella Rosso and Umberta Galati Bolognesi.

During the meeting, an interview with the Loano artist conducted by Santino Puleo.

“The meeting," the organizers explain, "aims to remember the craftsman and artist. Mario Cenere, perhaps Savona's last figuline maker, who has been able to embellish the history of Loano with a priceless collection of terracotta figures that, inspired by the great 19th-century tradition, have come to life in his workshop, to travel throughout Italy and abroad, reaching Genoa, Verona, Rome, Paris, Jerusalem, Germany and more.

Skill and passion that the artist also gave to the many students of Unitre courses, modeling and coloring Christmas landscapes, set in a corner of Liguria, made immortal. Figurines, characters, tales of the past that are renewed in the magic of Holy Christmas.”
