Thursday, September 18, Loano not only sea, excursion program curated by the Loano section of the C.A.I.. under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano, proposes the field trip in the Valley of the Rio Gargassa.
The itinerary in Beigua Park will start from Roussillon and will cross an area characterized by forest, canyons, glades and small lakes to reach Vereira, a now abandoned village that preserves the remains of an ancient glassworks dating back to the 14th century. From here you will walk along a path that climbs up to the Crovi Rocks 584 m from which there will be a view of the Gargassa Valley and nearby valleys. The descent will cross the characteristic Black Rocks and then follow forest and meadows to the end of the hike.
Departure is at 8:30 a.m.. The meeting place is in Valerga Square (market square).
