Sabato 6 settembre, prenderanno il viaa Loano i festeggiamenti, promossi dalla Brotherhood of the White Disciples of St. John the Baptist under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano, for the religious anniversary of the Most Holy Name of Mary.
At 9:40 p.m., in fortress square, the concert of the Filarmonica Calizzano, complesso musicale nato nel lontano 1859 oggi composto da una trentina di musicisti.
Giovedì 11 settembre, always in fortress square, to the 21.40 si svolgerà il concerto dell’S.M. Immaculata Music Association of Loano.
Venerdì 12 settembre, the Feast of the Most Holy Name of Mary will be celebrated by the’Oratory of the Whites.
On the occasion of the religious festival, the statue of Our Lady adorned with flowers and lamps will be carried in procession by the Brotherhood of the Whites, along with the large processional Crucifixes, rich in decorative ornaments, after the masses celebrated since morning in the Oratory.
Alle 20.30 si svolgeranno i Vespri Solenni presieduti da Msgr. Giorgio Brancaleoni, Vicario Generale Diocesano. Seguirà la Solemn Procession through the city streets. After traveling through the streets outside and inside the walls of Loano, the procession will stop in fortress square, where the blessing ceremony closing the procession will take place.
Participating in the procession will be the’St. Mary Immaculate Music Association, the G. Moretti Band of Pietra Ligure and numerous Ligurian Confraternities with their artistic Crucifixes.
