Friday, September 5, a Loano i youth and the music will be the protagonists of the sixth edition of the YEPP Music Festival, organized by the group YEPP Loano with contributions from the’Youth Policy Department of the City of Loano, ofFinalese Social and Health District, of the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, of A. Foundation. De Mari.

From 8:30 pm, the waterfront and the historic center will host rock bands, up-and-coming singer-songwriters, students of band-oriented schools or popular instruments such as the ukulele, very young DJs. In addition, the central stage will host a performance by the lineup Live-Evil which brings together young people from the MusicLab YEPP ensemble music workshop and the Keeper of time, a group that won the fifth edition Of the young band competition “YEPP Factor only for Up'n'Coming.

“June is the month in which YEPP group Loano together with the municipality has organized the Music Festival for the past six years, but this year rain prevented the event from taking place. So many groups were involved and great was the desire to play, so we decided to hold it again on September 5. - says Councillor Luca Lettieri - This initiative puts young people at the center, and not only from an artistic point of view; in fact, it is part of a broader youth policy project in which young people are aware of their needs and active in promoting actions that help produce positive change. We keep our fingers crossed, hoping that time will be on our side this time.”

The central stage on the Waterfront, in the cultural space Maccagli Garden, will be dedicated to rock bands. From 9 p.m. will take turns on stage the Keeper of time (2014 competition winners), The Lonesome Pines and Afterlife. The closing will be entrusted to the ensemble music formation Live-Evil with singers from the’Modern Jazz Dance Academy headed by Teo Chirico and choreography by the students of the Attimo Danza Civic School headed by Lorella Brondo.

From 20.30 will also come alive on the stage also set up on the waterfront, in the space adjacent to the Fountain by Bruno Chersiscla. Here they will play Marta Moretti (guitar and vocals), Dario La Torre Student of the Music School C. Tomagnini Alassio (guitar) and Samuel Puppo (guitar).

In Palestro Square, from the 20.30 sll be a succession of performances. The musical appetizer will be offeredby the sixteen very young members of the ukulele group “The jumping flea jumps”. Then it will be the turn of the students of the Guido Moretti Band Pietra Ligure and below from the singer-songwriter Chiara Lobina. In closing will play theformazione Midori Rain, which combines acoustic guitars with percussion.

Fortress Square will finally host DJ area, which will come alive from the 20.00 with the DJ from Centro Aquilone Pietra Ligure, Centro Ragazzi Borghetto S.S. and Giovani per Pietra Onlus.
