Venerdì 5 settembre, a Loano i youth and the music will be the protagonists of the sixth edition of the YEPP Music Festival, organized by the group YEPP Loano with contributions from the’Youth Policy Department of the City of Loano, ofFinalese Social and Health District, of the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, of A. Foundation. De Mari.
From 8:30 pm, the waterfront and the historic center will host rock band, cantautori emergenti, allievi di scuole ad indirizzo bandistico o di strumenti popolari come l’ukulele, giovanissimi DJ. Inoltre, il palco centrale ospiterà l’esibizione della formazione Live-Evil which brings together young people from the MusicLab YEPP ensemble music workshop and the Keeper of time, a group that won the fifth edition Of the young band competition “YEPP Factor only for Up'n'Coming.
“È giugno il mese in cui da sei anni il gruppo YEPP Loano insieme al Comune organizza la Festa della musica, ma quest’anno la pioggia ha impedito lo svolgimento della manifestazione. Tanti erano i gruppi coinvolti e grande la voglia di suonare e abbiamo quindi deciso di riproporla il 5 settembre. – dice l’Assessore Luca Lettieri – Questa iniziativa mette al centro i giovani e non solo dal punto di vista artistico, infatti si inserisce in un progetto più ampio di politiche giovanili, che vede i ragazzi consapevoli dei loro bisogni e attivi nel promuovere azioni che contribuiscono a produrre un positivo cambiamento. Incrociamo le dita, augurandoci che il tempo questa volta sia dalla nostra parte.”
The central stage on the Waterfront, in the cultural space Maccagli Garden, sarà dedicato alle rock band. Dalle 9 p.m. will take turns on stage the Keeper of time (2014 competition winners), The Lonesome Pines and Afterlife. La chiusura sarà affidata alla formazione di musica d’insieme Live-Evil with singers from the’Modern Jazz Dance Academy headed by Teo Chirico and choreography by the students of the Attimo Danza Civic School headed by Lorella Brondo.
From 20.30 will also come alive on the stage also set up on the waterfront, in the space adjacent to the Fountain by Bruno Chersiscla. Here they will play Marta Moretti (guitar and vocals), Dario La Torre Student of the Music School C. Tomagnini Alassio (guitar) and Samuel Puppo (guitar).
In Palestro Square, from the 20.30 sarà un susseguirsi di esibizioni. L’aperitivo musicale sarà offertodai sedici giovanissimi componenti del gruppo di ukulele “The jumping flea jumps”. Poi sarà la volta degli allievi della Guido Moretti Band Pietra Ligure and below from the singer-songwriter Chiara Lobina. In chiusura suonerà laformazione Midori Rain, which combines acoustic guitars with percussion.
Fortress Square infine ospiterà l’area DJ, che si animerà a partire dalle 20.00 with the DJ from Centro Aquilone Pietra Ligure, Centro Ragazzi Borghetto S.S. and Giovani per Pietra Onlus.
