Wednesday, August 27, a Loano, at St. Augustine's Church,will take place at 21.30 the concert of the Polyphonic Choir City of Loano, organized under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism and Culture of the City of Loano.

Opening the sacred music concert will be a performance of “Magnificat in B” by Francesco Durante (1684/1755). This will be followed by “Magnificat RV 610“ by Antonio Vivaldi (1678/1741), ”Laudate Dominum“ from the Vesprae Solennes de confessore KV 339 by W.A. Mozart, ”Domine Deus“ from the Gloria by A. Vivaldi, ”Aria Sacra" by Alessandro Stradella.

Soloists in the concert will be Marika Colasanto, Ivonne Battisti, Emanuela Del Rio soprano, Luigi Muratorio, tenor, Margherita Battisti, alto, Dominic Abrate, bass. Conducting the choir will be the Master Mattia Pelosi. The concert will be accompaniedby William Vivino to the keyboard.

The City of Loano Polyphonic Choir, founded in 1998, consists of 30 vocal elements. The repertoire that characterizes the Lovran formation is that of Baroque polyphony, and the choir has numerous concerts to its credit, which have been held at prestigious festivals.
