Thursday, Aug. 14, a Loano, the dance review in the’Prince's Garden Summer Arena, promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano eorganized by the I.So THeatre with the artistic direction of Luca Malvicini, will host the show.“Dancing with the Movies - Steps in the Movie”.
At 9:30 pm, the Ariston Pro Ballet Company will present the show signed by choreographer Marcello Algeri dedicated to the Maestro Ennio Morricone and to his wonderful music. An Academy Award winner, Morricone created a “genre” in Italian and world cinematography with his soundtracks.
Dance will meet cinema and the result will be a combination capable of stimulating emotions and bringing the audience and the authors themselves inside a world of images, colors, energy in motion and joy.
The show is divided into two parts. The first part, “the artist,” is devoted to all the most beautiful music composed for famous films such as “Reverse Canon,” “Once Upon a Time in America,” “Once Upon a Time in the West,” “New Cinema Paradise,” “Lux prodigiosa,” “The Betrothed,” “Mission.”.
The second part, “the man,” is a gift the Company gives to maestro Morricone by dancing to the music of Madonna's film W.E. composed by Abel Korzeniowsky.
La Company Ariston Proballet of San Remo, recognized by the MIBAC Ministero dei Beni e delle Attività Culturali in Rome, is based at the Ariston Theater in San Remo, Proballet Performing Art Center 1 and 2 and Albano Performing arts center Harthford Connecticut.
Comprehensive Choreographic Research and Production Center, Ariston Proballet each year tours Italy, France, Germany, countries of the former Yugoslavia, Russia, and the United States of America.
The company has obtained AIDAP recognition and collaborates with the ILO-UN Institute in Geneva, the University of Florence and the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana.
Many important collaborations are with the San Remo, Verona and Alexandria Symphony Orchestra, as well as with Albano Connecticut Ballet USA, Steps on Broadway New York, Perry dance New York, Manhattan dance center New York and Jennifer Muller's Company.
