Tuesday, July 29, a Loano, the review “Culture Tuesdays” promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano and curated by the I.So THeatre, will host the writer Marina Pratelli for the presentation of his latest novel “Waiting by the Sea”.

At 6:30 pm, in the Prince's Garden, Graziella Frasca Gallo will dialogue with Marina Pratelli, winner of the 5th Ventimiglia Literary Prize.

Waiting by the sea” is the deeply human story of a friendship that arises in the border town between an elderly fisherman and a young musician who fled the war in Bosnia.

A tale that spans the 1960s and the present and is about the friendship between two men who are very different in generation, ethnicity and culture, but who share a dark past. Having landed by chance in Ventimiglia from distant places, veterans of different but equally violent wars, they try to forget and redeem themselves, until a mysterious female apparition takes them back in time.

Milanese writer and journalist who has lived in Ventimiglia for 20 years, Marina Pratelli A former voice of Radio Monte Carlo, he published his first book “The Destiny that is not there” in 2010 (Marinotti Publisher).

The meeting with the author will be accompanied by the notemusical notes performed by Maestro Roberto Sinito.
