Friday, July 18, a Loano, to the 9:30 pm, in the Summer Arena Prince's Garden will take place the concert of Raphael Gualazzi, promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano and organized by the I.So THeatre.
“After the success of Arisa," says Councillor Remo Zaccaria, the Giardino del Principe Summer Arena, will once again this year offer a packed schedule of concerts featuring top national and international artists. Opening the musical events will be Raphael Gualazzi, one of the talents of the jazz and blues music scene, on July 18. On August 2 it will be the turn of Cristiano De Andrè and on August 3 the Cuban group Grupo Compay Segundo.”
After enthralling audiences around the world, from Europe to Japan to Canada, Raphael Gualazzi returns to Italian stages with a new live chapter: the “Welcome to my hell tour 2014.”.
The announcement of the new tour, comes on the heels of the success of last year's tour, which sold out repeatedly in Italy and abroad.
After the success at the 64th Sanremo Festival with the song “Free or Not,” which took second place, and the debut in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria of the album “Happy Mistake,” which bewitched the foreign press, Raphael Gualazzi is now preparing to perform throughout Italy with an overwhelming new show.
It will be a dynamic and multifaceted show that will alternate evocative atmospheres with moments of intense and irresistible energy. Gualazzi will be accompanied by a 9-piece lineup of musicians and backing vocalists.
The concert will develop from his unmistakable international sound, able to range naturally from jazz to blues, with forays into gospel and soul, as well as country and rock, with a homage to classics from Verdi to Fellini's Rota.
Raphael Gualazzi, born in Urbino, class of 1981, is the revelation of the Sanremo Festival. 2011: first place in the Youth and Critics“ Prize, with an outstanding second place at the Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf. Reflective and at the same time passionate, shy but irrepressible, he is among the purest talents on the music scene in recent years: a true ”music craftsman" with a visceral love for jazz and blues.The 2013 is an exceptional year for the artist, who returns with a new album “Happy Mistake” and gets 5th place at Sanremo. On March 28, the ’Happy Mistake Tour“ opens with a sold-out performance at Café de la Danse in Paris, while the album also climbs the French digital charts. Meanwhile, Gualazzi successfully dominates the stages of major international and national festivals (”Saint Germain Jazz“ in Paris, ”Dìa de la Musica“ in Madrid, ”Festival dei Due Mondi“ in Spoleto), and in the fall he is chosen by Fabio Fazio to take care of the musical part of the 11th edition of ”Che tempo che fa.“ The year ends with an acclaimed concert in Tokyo, where the artist confirms the internationality of his music.The 2014 for Gualazzi opens with second place at the Sanremo Festival, which he conquers with the song “Liberi o no” together with dee-jay The Bloody Beetroots; soon after, the artist flies to Canada to perform at the prestigious “Montréal en Lumière.” On March 25, the deluxe edition of ‘Happy Mistake,’ which encompasses the artist's entire 2013 in music, is released in Italy. On April 18 the album is released in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands on the Warner Music / Sugar label. The release is presented in Hamburg with a sold-out live concert at the historic Mojo Club.
