He continues,a Loano, the third edition of the film review “The trash that we were!” and the City of Loano Award “Trash Film! Laughing Italian Style.”, promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano and organized by the I.So, with the artistic direction of Paolo Borio.

This year's review dedicated to the film strand nowadays referred to as “trash” has as its protagonist Alvaro Vitali, the comic actor who enlivened the Italian-style comedy of the 1970s and 1980s. His physicality and acting skills turned him into a funny mask, rooted in the Roman and “Romanesque” tradition. Alvaro Vitali made Italy smile by giving a face to the most famous joke character “Pierino.”.

Sunday, July 13, to the 9:30 pm, on the big screen of the Prince's Garden you can review the film “Giggi the Bully” (Italy, 1982) by Marino Girolami, inspired by the famous macchietta “Giggi er Bullo” by Ettore Petrolini. In the film Alvaro Vitali Is a young Roman blowhard prone to getting into trouble.

The semi-serious journey among never-to-be-forgotten films will continue on the July 14, always at 21.30,  with the film “Paulo Roberto Cotechiño ...” (Italy, 1983) by Nando Cicero with Alvaro Vitali and Carmen Russo, considered a true spiritual testament of Italian-style comedy, thanks to its anthology of gags and the presence of Mediterranean women.

The review will close Tuesday, July 15 with the awards night, which will feature Alvaro Vitali star of the “Pierino” show. From 9:30 pm, in the’Prince's Garden Arena, Vitaliwill relive the funniest jokes of his most popular character.

Evenings are admission is free.
