Wednesday, July 9, at Loano, will kick off the review“Family-friendly Loano”, promoted by the’Department of Social Services of the City of Loano.

“The project dedicated to promoting the theme of the “quality of leisure time” Of families. - says the’Alderman Luca Lettieri - Alongside the solar camp activity, conceived as the “alternative vacation” for kids whose parents are busy with work, we have planned in cooperation with the I.So Cooperative a series of initiatives that aim to bring young and old together to share experiences such as watching a good movie or a children's theater show.”

To toddlers and families, the’Prince's Garden Summer Arena will offer a program of initiatives, with free admission, included as part of the project.

Wednesday July 9 the Pirate Theater Company, at 9:30 pm, will stage the show “Pirate treasure”. With the puppets' own irony, the exploits of two pirates who are the protagonists of curious adventures and unexpected twists will be told.

The performance will evoke the mythology of the sea and the legends of the exploits of the “masters of the sea” who are so well-known but simultaneously so mysterious.

Mystery stimulates the imagination even when surrounded by clichés. And the mystery of the treasure is the strongest one. But around the nature of this treasure the mystery deepens and the doubt spreads whether beyond the trunk full of shining valuables as it is depicted in the collective imagination, there is not an even greater treasure: that of solidarity, friendship, the desire to break chains and thus the myth of freedom that in the pirate community constitute absolute values.
The visually striking show features original music by Lorenzo Soda and the unmistakable style of set designer Marina Montelli.

The review will continue with the Theater of the’Mad Grass that the July 30 Will tell with large puppets the folk tale “Rapunzel”. Always Daniele De Bernardi of the Mad Grass Theater will return to tell a fairy tale on the August 6. Flipping through the pages of a three-dimensional book, a magical storyteller will bring to life the history of the  The Piper of Hamelin, animating magnificentpuppets.

The initiative Family-friendly Loano will intertwine, then, the film season, offering the August 5, 13, 20 the review “Cardboard Stories” dedicated to the animated films of Enzo D'Alò. On the big screen in the Prince's Garden will be shown the films: “The blue arrow”, “The gabianella and the cat” e “Pinocchio”.

All initiatives are at FREE ADMISSION.
