Saturday, May 31, a Loano, at 18.30, in the’Prince's Garden Summer Arena , the concert of the Fanfare of the 3rd Carabinieri Battalion “Lombardy”, organized by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.

“We are honored," says the Mayor of Loano. Luigi Pignocca - to host the extraordinary concert of the Carabinieri Fanfare. The occasion is indeed important, because this year marks the Bicentennial of the Foundation of the Carabinieri Corps, an anniversary of profound and significant historical significance for all of Italy. The Carabinieri Corps is one of the country's most solid institutions, a point of reference for the protection of legality, prevention and the fight against crime of all kinds. We are therefore happy to celebrate this anniversary at Loano with this musical event.”

The Fanfare of the III Battalion Carabinieri “Lombardia” will give our city an engaging concert, giving a foretaste of the great musical events of the summer season.”

 

La Fanfare of the 3rd Battalion Carabinieri “Lombardy” was born in the winter of 1946 and was immediately given artistic duties in order to set a more solemn tone for military parades and ceremonies.

The Fanfare consists of 30 elements and is conducted by the Ordinary Marshal Andrea Bagnolo. Chief Fanfare began studying piano at a young age and later took up the study of jazz and composition. He has been a SIAE member for many years and has numerous original compositions and arrangements for various ensembles to his credit. He graduated with honors in ’Music of Use’ from the “Martini” conservatory in Bologna and in “Applied Music” from the “Frescobaldi” conservatory in Ferrara.

 

The repertoire chosen for Loano will range from popular Italian songs to military marches, opera arias and symphonic music.

The concert is at free admission.
