Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11, a Loano, in the outdoor Olympic-size pool at the Sports Hall, the 19th International Swimming Meet City of Loano.
The sports event, organized by the Doria Swimming Company 2000 Loano, with contributions from the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano and the sponsorship of FIN and CONI, will see engaged 360 athletes for a total of 1253 race attendance in the categories Rookies A, boys, juniors and overall.
They will be 17 the companies who will compete for the Trophy. The competition program includes for the Rookies A: 100 breaststroke - 100 butterfly - 100 backstroke - 100 freestyle. For the categories Boys, Juniors and Absolute 50: breaststroke - 50 butterfly - 50 backstroke - 50 freestyle - 100 breaststroke - 100 butterfly - 100 backstroke - 100 freestyle - 200 breaststroke - 200 butterfly - 200 backstroke - 200 freestyle - 400 freestyle - 200 mixed - 400 mixed.
The largest team will again this year be the Turin Swimming Center, a multiple winner over the years of the team classification, with his 64 athletes. Among the most important companies in northern Italy will be on the starting blocks the Senago swimming, Pietro Radici swimming, Nuotatori Modenesi and Canottieri Vittorino da Feltre.
Among the Ligurian teams, in addition to the host and organizer Doria swimming Loano, who will attempt to bag medals among the Beginners A, also the Amatori Nuoto Savona and the Rari Nantes Imperia.
Each athlete will be allowed to participate in a maximum of 4 races for the Rookies A and a maximum of 5 races for the Boys, Juniors and Absolute categories. Competitions will be held in series. No finals are scheduled. Medal awards will be given to the top three finishers in each race distinguished by Category. Prizes will be awarded to the first six Companies, which have obtained the highest scores.

Numerous athletes will medal at the national level. For Canottieri Vittorino da Feltre will swim, among women, Camilla Tinelli, gold medal winner in the 100 and 200 backstroke junior category year 1999; Emanuela Tortomasi Gold medal in 200sl and silver medal 400sl boys category year 2001; Alessia Ruggi, gold hat trick in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle, silver in the 200 medley and 400 style and 100 dolphin junior category 1999. Among the males will be at the starting blocks. Leonardo Ricchi, double gold in the 50 and 100 freestyle boys year 1999. Important names for the Red Frogs as well: James Carini, gold medal 100/200 dolphin 200/400 mixed category junior year1997 and Lorenzo Zangrandi, silver medal in the 1500 freestyle always junior category 1997.
For Pietro Radici Nuoto finally there will be. Dario Paganessi, a finalist in the men's 200 breaststroke event at the last spring absolute championships, and for the Turin Swimming Center there will be athletes who were finalists at the absolute championships Alessio Facchini 400 mx - FINAL A and Giulia Facchini 200 fa - FINAL B, Marco Fognini 200 FA - FINAL B.
