They kicked off the online voting of the fifth edition of the young band competition “Yepp Factor only for Up'n'Coming”, organized by the YEPP Group Loano with the contribution of the’Youth Policy Department of the City of Loano, of Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation and of the A. Foundation. De Mari.
There are 7 bands admitted to the competition: 25 Degrees With the song “Alone.”, Crimson Roses With “Heroes.”, Dreamwave with “Free.”, Hairbangers with “Liar.”, Keeper of Time With “My Poisoned Rose.”, Shambling Lazybones With “That Lady.”, Wefly With “The Force.”.
Demos of the competing bands can be heard on the website www.yepploano.it in the special section dedicated to the contest and on youtube. Each group has a personal space where users can view photos, biographies and stream the competing piece, which can be voted on via a special box. Voting online will close at 9 p.m. in Sunday, May 11, p.m.
At the end of the scheduled voting period, the organization will tally the total votes and publish the results online. Both votes collected on the official YEPP Loano website and votes collected from individual tracks on youtube will be taken into consideration.
Le 4 top-rated bands will then participate in the live evening, the May 24, in front of a jury technique, which will evaluate song lyrics, musical composition, stage presence, performance technique and interpretation, decreeing the winner at the end of the evening.
For the first-place group as a prize there will be a music video And participation in the 2014 edition of the festival Justenice to Justenice (date to be designated). In addition, the first three band ranked will have the opportunity to play on the main stage of the YEPP Music Festival scheduled at Loano on June 14.
