Sunday, April 13, a Loano, the 2014 edition of the review will kick off. “The Turchini Concerts, organized by the Brotherhood of the Turks' Chapels under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.

Host of the first round of the “The Musics of the Soul.”, scheduled at 5 p.m., it will be Vocal and instrumental ensemble The Invaghites who will perform the “Lamentationes” by Jan Dismas Zelenka, a concert dedicated to compositions from the Holy Week period.

The vocal and instrumental ensemble “Gli Invaghiti” was born in Chivasso in 2008 by the will and under the direction of Fabio Furnari. It consists of musicians with established and recognized solo, choral and orchestral experience. It is mainly dedicated to the rediscovery, transcription and performance of medieval, Renaissance and Baroque scores. The Ensemble has reconstructed and performed the’Officium de Passione Domini, written by St. Bonaventure at the request of King Louis IX of France.

He has also collaborated with the MIBAC and the Superintendence for Architectural and Landscape Heritage of Piedmont in the realization of Blessed Viscera, Concert for European Music Day 2009 and for Coelestis Music, Concert for the International Year of Astronomy.

The ensemble The Invaghites, in additionwas commissioned to reconstitute the ancient Musical Chapel of the thousand-year-old Basilica-Sanctuary of Our Lady of Crea (UNESCO heritage site).{:}
